Mill Race is excited to announce the Mentor Network continues to grow with the addition of Wayne Worthington. Wayne adds to the Mentor Network his expertise in finance, economics, product design and distribution.
Wayne is a financial planner and investment manager at Community Bank and Trust helping people to prepare for retirement and invest as a fee-only fiduciary. Wayne’s previous professional experience includes: business owner of Wayne Engineering Corp. (a local Garbage Truck manufacturing business), director of Mergers and Acquisitions at Aegon, a leader in finance.
Wayne has an engineering degree from Iowa State University, graduated Magna cum Laude with an MBA from Boston University, and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations. Wayne serves on the board of directors for the West Point Military Academy Parents Club of Iowa and on the Holiday Lake home owner’s association. He is a member at the Elks Club, Cedar Valley Rotary Club and the Cedar Falls Lions Club.
Wayne and his wife, Glynis have 4 children who serve as officers in each branch of the US military. Wayne enjoys boating, biking and supporting the community.
